About the Presentation:
The Mio-Pliocene belt in Huancavelica is one of the areas with the highest potential and geological complexity in the Peruvian Andes. In this session, Eng. David Dávila will share a deep technical analysis on the exploration of epithermal systems that develop in close relationship with porphyry systems. This presentation will provide valuable geological criteria and exploration guides applicable to the search for high- and low-sulfidation deposits in this sector—fundamental for the discovery of new resources in our country.
2. A New Geochemical Dilution Equation for Stream Sediments, Applied in the Haquira Project – Peru

About the Presentation:
The geochemistry of stream sediments is a classic tool in regional exploration, but it often faces the natural challenge of “dilution” as the mineralized material travels downstream through the basin. M.Sc. Pavel Cañabi will present the development and validation of a new geochemical dilution equation, tested and successfully applied in the well-known Haquira project. This innovative methodology allows for more accurate interpretation of geochemical anomalies and refines exploration targets, optimizing resources and time in early stages.
